About Sankey...

Founded in 1855 by Richard Sankey, the Nottingham based company made use of local raw materials to produce hand made clay pots. Clay remained the main material used in manufacture until 1976, when modern production of plastic pots took over. Today Sankey Garden Products is a leading UK manuafcture of graden products, we produce a range of lightweight, frost proof plastic pots and related garden products. With our expansive experience you can trust us to provide a range of products which provide functional gardening solutions with innovative design.

With six generations of gardeners and nurserymen under our belts, our intrinsic knowledge of the market means we understand current trends. Quality, price, style and sustainability are high on our agenda. Like you we have high standards, It's one of our continuous objectives to increase the use of pre-processed material, which is currently around 70% of our total production, with over half manufactured from post consumer waste e.g. shampoo bottles.

Sankey became part of Fiskars Brands UK in 1999 along with brands such as Fiskars Garden Tools (http://www.fiskars.com) and Kitchen Devils (www.kitchendevils.com ).

All our manufacturing facilities are certified by BSI to the Environmental Management System - ISO 14001:2004 and the Quality Management System - ISO 9001:2008.
